1st drafts of diary entries after the Battle of Hastings

Check out the following recordings of Megan W from 7BG and Jacob H from 7BN. They are the 1st drafts of diary entries written after the Battle of Hastings in 1066, as recorded on my shiney new iPad today. We’ve been focusing on developing our literacy skills with specific emphasis on powerful vocabulary, connectives and rhetorical questions. I’m looking forward to hearing and reading about their final pieces.

I particularly love the following line from Jacob “…I’ve never experienced such melancholy”.
