As we began to move into a period of stability after the fire that devastated our school I felt that it was time to refocus our energies on our core purpose: learning. As educators, we all strive to adapt to and meet the needs of all of our students, but on our own this is a difficult task. ‘C Magazine’ is just one initiative designed to foster a renewed sense of shared responsibility at Campsmount Technology College to further improve and strengthen our expertise.
‘C’ is for communication, collaboration and community. All articles are written by our staff and it is published across the school year. We also embed it within our school website for parents to visually see what developments are going on with regards to teaching and learning. How do you share practice in your school? In what ways do colleagues actively contribute to developing ideas? I’d be interested to hear out about how ideas are explored in your establishment. I hope you begin to gain a sense of how we do this from the magazines that will appear here in the future.

Wow, this is so glossy and packed full of info. A great read!
This is amazing! I love that it is published for parents to see on the web as it gives them insight into the professional side of learning and they can see the school is doing everything to move staff on.
I hope you don't mind me stealing this idea!
Very impressive, Jamie! It just goes to show what a little bit of emphasis on design can do to lift a good idea to a great one!
Great stuff, Jamie. I tried one issue of something similar last year but ran out of steam. Would be great to get something up and running for next year. Well done to you and the staff.
